1) DEFINITIONS

“Promotion” means the Gallo® Unlimited Challenge.

“Promotional Period” means the period commencing Monday, 26 January 2026 and ending on Sunday, 1 March 2026, and running Monday to Wednesday only, unless terminated earlier at the discretion of the Promoter.

“Participating Stores” means selected Tasty Gallos® South Africa stores participating in the Promotion.

“Participant” means any customer who purchases and/or participates in the Promotion in accordance with these Terms.

“Promoter” means Tasty Gallos (Pty) Ltd, trading as Tasty Gallos South Africa, including its franchisees.

“Indemnity Form” means the online indemnity, consent, and assumption-of-risk form made available by the Promoter.

2) ELIGIBILITY

The Promotion is open to customers who purchase the Promotion at a Participating Store during the Promotional Period.

Participants are required to complete the online Indemnity Form prior to participation.

Participants under the age of 18 may only participate with the consent and indemnity completed by a parent or legal guardian.

The Promoter reserves the right to refuse participation to any customer at its discretion.

3) PARTICIPATING STORES

The Promotion is valid only at selected Participating Stores, subject to stock availability, seating availability, operational capacity, and management discretion.

4) PROMOTION DETAILS

Price: R99
Time Limit: 20 minutes
Availability: Monday to Wednesday only
Format: Eat-in rules apply

Each portion consists of:

• 3 × chicken strips (prepared from chicken fillets)

• Small chips

• Gallo Naise™ dip

• Extra Hot spice only

No substitutions are permitted.

5) HOW THE PROMOTION WORKS

The Participant orders and pays for the Promotion at the till.

The Participant is provided access to the online Indemnity Form.

The first portion is served and the 20-minute timer starts immediately upon handover.

The timer runs continuously and does not pause.

Additional portions are served only once the previous portion is fully consumed, including the dip.

Additional portions are prepared fresh.

Any leftovers after time expiry may be taken away.

6) STRICT RULES

No sharing of food is permitted.

No substitutions of any kind are permitted.

Extra Hot spice only.

If any portion is shared, participation is immediately voided and the meal is no longer unlimited.

Drinks and additional items are not included and are for the Participant’s own account.

7) ONLINE INDEMNITY AND DEEMED ACCEPTANCE

Completion of the online Indemnity Form is mandatory.

Notwithstanding this requirement, by purchasing, receiving, or consuming any part of the Promotion, the Participant (and/or parent or legal guardian, where applicable):

• Accepts and agrees to these Terms and Conditions in full;

• Is deemed to have accepted the indemnity, consent, and assumption-of-risk provisions; and

• Indemnifies and holds harmless the Promoter as set out below,

whether or not the online Indemnity Form has been completed due to refusal, omission, technical failure, or any other reason.

8) NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES

Once participation has commenced, no refunds, exchanges, substitutions, or compensation will be provided.

Failure to complete the challenge or experiencing discomfort does not entitle the Participant to a refund.

9) ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND MEDICAL ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

By participating, the Participant (and/or parent or legal guardian) acknowledges that:

The Promotion involves the consumption of extremely hot food.

Participation may cause discomfort or adverse reactions, including burning sensations, nausea, vomiting, or gastrointestinal distress.

The Participant does not suffer from any medical condition that would make participation unsafe.

Participation is undertaken entirely at the Participant’s own risk.

10) INDEMNITY AND HOLD HARMLESS

The Participant (and/or parent or legal guardian) irrevocably indemnifies, releases, and holds harmless Tasty Gallos (Pty) Ltd, trading as Tasty Gallos South Africa, together with any associated or related companies, and all of their directors, officers, employees, franchisees, agents, representatives, contractors, and suppliers, from any and all claims, demands, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from or related to participation in the Promotion or consumption of any products, howsoever caused, save for gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

11) MEDIA AND MARKETING CONSENT

By participating in the Promotion, the Participant irrevocably consents to the capture and use of their name, image, likeness, voice, photographs, and video recordings by the Promoter for marketing, advertising, promotional, and social media purposes, without compensation.

12) MANAGEMENT RIGHTS

The Promoter and store management reserve the right to refuse or terminate participation, void participation for breach of these Terms, amend, suspend, or cancel the Promotion, or limit participation based on operational or safety considerations.

All decisions are final and binding.

13) LEGAL COMPLIANCE

This Promotion is conducted in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

14) GENERAL

The Promotion may not be combined with any other offer unless expressly stated.

False information or misrepresentation may render participation void.

Records may be retained for compliance and risk-management purposes.
